A Midwest Fall in S.D.

Quickly, if you didn't understand the last post, it was our way of announcing that we're having another baby. This was a definite surprise to us, seeing as how Lukas is only 7 months old, but we are getting excited. This does, however, not help the EDGE factor. I'll have to work extra hard to keep that in tact. Seriously, we feel blessed that we are able to have kids, so we're running with it.
On another note, it feels like Indiana in San Diego. The weather is always good here, but strangely enough, we can get sick of it. The last few days have felt like Fall in the Midwest. More so than it ever has before. For IWUers, remember when the season would change from summer to Fall, and you'd make a midnight run to Handy Andy and realize that you didn't wear a strong enough jacket, but it felt great anyway. The crisp air with the smell of a fire. Not snow/freezing weather, but Autumn. Sam Bills had a theory about love in the changing of the seasons, and I think he was dead on - "It's easy to fall in love when the seasons change". There's just something about it. Lacy and I couldn't wait to get home late last night and start a fire. We put on a movie, opened the windows (too keep the smell of the air in the house), bundled up and fell asleep in the living room. With the changing of the season came a romantic evening. It was great!

Don't be afraid of romance in the turn of the season, It could be God's design.

I agree 100%. We had our first fire of the year yesterday, with rain and leaves blowing outside. Really does make for great amoreee (pronunciation taken from video below :-)
According to the paper, we should be able to see the first dusting of snow on the tops of our local mountains after the clouds clear, and I can't wait.

It's perfect here in Indiana too. Glad San Diego is getting true autumn. And how can you get sick of sunny and 70?

You know what has less EDGE than your Jeep stroller? The double stroller you'll be shopping for in a few months.

I'm really missing northern Michigan about this time. Grass is still green here... And the leaves are just kind of turning brown and dying.. some of them are yellow. It's just not the same!
