A Cell Phone Drowning/ A Cell Phone CPR

Sunday afternoon, we were all sitting in the living room watching 24 when tragedy struck. Lacy looked over and Lukas was playing dunkin donuts with my cell phone and a glass of water. It was awesome. This comes after a year of two cell phone incidents: one being when Lacy dropped my cell into a hot tub, and two, when I dropped the next one on the floor of the Fish and Chips place, cracking the screen. Needless to say, the insurance carrier has said its adieu.
This phone (treo 650) was now uninsured, yet very valuable to my life. I live by this. It's calendar and address book keep me afloat.

IT WAS GONE.

We tried blow drying it. Taking it apart. Shaking the living day lights out of it.

Nothing was going to revive it.

Monday comes. I spent a good part of the day trying to figure out if I could switch carriers and get any good deals on another smart phone, but to no avail. It was cost WAY to much to drop Sprint at this point.

SO... I walked past my wall charger and decided to just PLUG in the phone. As soon as I did, WHAMO, it came on.
It works perfectly. I'm so confused, but at least I can love my son again :)

Here He is blowing on the phone, trying to help.

That's nothin. You should talk to Todd about his incident with his cell phone and a restaurant toilet. Priceless.

Look at that face! I think he was sincere in his attempts to blow on it.

Gotta love em'! Too cute, and once again I must renew my previous comment about Luke somehow being related to Josh(Buck, that is....). Not only does the hair match, he's acting like their kids...(Lacy-I'm sure Shelly could share some humdingers with you about Noah...this comment box is much too small!)

Deb,
Thanks for stopping by.
I'm not exactly sure who you are, but I'm guessing there's a relation to JoEllen?

Everyone Else: Thanks for stopping by as well :)

Josh, I can't wait to hear what you think of this CD. The Walk and Daylight Robbery are amazing... so many layers. Hide and Seek is just beautiful. The last song is a strong on too. Overall, just unbelievable. So glad you've made it through inititation... now onto Imogen conversion.

If I recall, Wes killed 3 cell phones...2 in the toilet and one into a bucket of paint...

Classic. Goes right up there with the peanut butter & jelly sandwich my brother stuffed in the VCR when he was 3. :)

Glad to hear that it was revived! I think it was Lukas blowing on it!

Don't you know that's the rule? You have to let it dry out for a couple days and it should slowly come back to life...glad you didn't lose your life!
