In The Movies

In the movies, why is it that when someone is about to kill someone else, they always do a long explanation of WHY they are going to kill them? It's not like the person being killed is going to remember the reason. I say keep your mouth shut and shoot. You'll save your time and mine.

I don't know, if I was the one about to be blown away, maybe I would appreciate the courtesy of at least knowing why someone thought I deserved it! But, you being a person who appreciates as few words used as possible in almost any situation, I can see why you'd say that :-)
