This is Like That...

Listening to music in your home is like going downtown.
You never do it, but when you do, you ask yourself:
"Why don't I do this ALL the time?"
Then you go on with your life and don't do it again for a long, long time.
So sad.

We used to listen to music all the time at home in on the CD player... until Cammie dropped it on its side when we moved and now it won't open.

I actually can't imagine not having music on at home for at least part of my day, but then again I don't have a job that I go to every day that requires me to think about music, all day long. Maybe thats why you don't think about it once your home?

So, when are we gonna see some new pic.s of Lukas? His greatest fans want to know :-)

Do you have an ipod? I think you do, then you need to get the Bose Sound Dock.I guarentee you'd listen to music in your home a lot more than you usually do. We just got one and we listen to music all day long! Just a thought.

Have a good day, Garlow.

I think the problem is that you have too many ways to listen to music. I bet if you had an old transistor radio with only one speaker that worked and that only picked up one country station - you would put it up on your mantle and listen to it all the time.

You know those cars that drive by and all you hear is the bass? I think there should be an all-bass radio station. That way when I'm in my house I can tune in instead of having to have someone pimp it in.

So true, so true. I think it would make an interesting case study. People who do music for a living never listening to it at home... I don't even listen to it in the car (NPR, what can I say?). Sad, but true.

Joel got me this really cool CD player that you can stick in your kitchen. It's got radio and even a function where you can turn the TV to certain channels and listen to it all over the house! It's awesome. For us apartment people-we can drive our neighbors nuts by all the noise.

I pretty much listen to NPR from the moment my alarm goes off to the end of the day. I can't think of a moment in my life where I'm not listenig to music. I have small, fold-out speakers for my iPod that go with me if I'm not going to be near a radio or computer. I need to move more to your side. Less noise. Music or radio programs are on ALL THE TIME.

Oh, the joys of having ZERO musical talent... I couldn't survive the day without at least one good (and I mean truly good) song that's so loud it makes you squint. I love that I don't have to understand it...I just get to enjoy it.
